Juke Jules SUBS 20th May 2017		Another treat from this compilation on YT - Merrill singing Yesterdays (happy sweet sequestered days) this time with the Quincy Jones Orchestra, Jimmy Jones piano, Barry Galbraith guitar, Oscar Pettiford bass, Bobby Donaldson drums, and Clifford Brown for the magnificent trumpet break Gil Evans and his Orchestra are not on this track, but are on some of the other tracks



Juke Jules SUBS 25th Mar 2014		A compilation of Merrill's tracks recorded with various orchestras and combinations, and one track with piano accompaniment by John Lewis. We think of Lewis as generally upbeat and lively for his work with the MJQ, but here Merrill has convinced him to use all his skill to play thoughtfully and sensitively as she works her usual craft of taking this jazz standard at a quarter the speed of anyone else
