 I think the November 1998 release date should apply to the very first "Irish" pressing only.
I have no idea when exactly was issued the ihT/East West, but I suppose in 2000 when East West did also Babylon single, not before

 Absolutely!

Like most people, I got this for Babylon, which is sublime, although it is worth noting that the version released as a single, and heard on the radio was a remix (That version is best sought on single format- 7" or CD single), whereas this is more "straight up".

...And the video you posted is a Soft Cell cover (I believe).

My favourite here though is the title Track: White Ladder... A song for, about, and has something of (In a non Widecombe - Howard sense) the night about it.
