Made in the EU.
As far as I can see the label should be, and is, Sony Music. The boxset is issued by Sony Music and contains two CDs issued on ISO/Columbia - but this entry is for the boxset, not the individual parts of it. So I would say it is correct as it stands.
Hi Phil, I put that in the contribution notes and so far nothing has changed. Discogs lists this one this way and I put the original labels in the notes because the information on the box packaging only says Sony Music. I was in two minds though.
gregs78's the EU and Europe are two distinctly different entities last time I looked and if a CD states made in the EU it is referring to the economic construct and not the geographical construct. Russia, the Ukraine and sundry other countries are not in the EU and I don't think they should all be clubbed under the banner of the European Union or Europe when no CDs actually have Made In Europe on them. Well none I've seen anyway. I'm sure the MODS have grappled with this one but it is a confusing situation for those of us in other parts of the world.
As far as i know Lee,although we may be coming out of the European Union,we will still be,and always will be part of Europe geographically (not withstanding some massive geological shifting of the plates of course;),that would follow for Switzerland (i think;)(which is land-locked though,so it's not going anywhere),so i don't think there will be any changes Lee (of course,i could be entirely wrong,in which case, ignore all of the above;)
(nice scans by the way:)
This was of course an Australian release as well an EU release but I've listed it as EU as that is what it says on the tin. Listing any other way is just far too confusing, involves hours of research to prove that this is the case and in the end no-one really cares except people that would like it to be listed as European anyway. Never mind Brexit will bring the same problem to the UK very soon. Won't any EU CD sold in Britain be international after Brexit?
What's the story with EU CDs sold in Switzerland? Surely they are all international or are there different rules for that?
