 Had a look at the mighty baby album sleeve notes and labels.... Couldn't see Curtiss Maldoon mentioned. Was he on later albums?

 The Curtiss Maldoon LP on Purple records. The ray of light CD in the wake of the Madonna release is worth picking up cheap for the booklet which has some explanation of who played on the 1972 LP

 I'm not a tremendous fan of Madonna, but like a few of her songs...

But I feel it ought to be mentioned how good The Power Of Goodbye is on this album.

It's the first song of hers where I think she genuinely "Sings". Maybe the personal nature of the song brought more out of her than usual, but the vocal floats high above the song very clearly and sincerely (Another attribute I don't usually associate with her- Sorry Madonna fans).

If she did more songs like that, and sung them as well, maybe I'd buy more of her work.

I do like this album in general though.
