Helen Willemse 15th Jun 2022		PhilMH, I always wondered about the chopped heads... it was the first to be released in the Netherlands... bought it because they said the tracks were a bit different. On the EU version however... normal versions but at least they still got their heads. What idiot came up with chopping heads?? rolls eyes On some Dutch sites this album is called The No.1's expanded edition. I asked them if they knew the old version, no answer of course. This version on this page came later in NL, I bought it just have the heads :-p And then there is this so called "special edition" with the same tracklisting -_-



PhilMH 13th Jun 2022		I agree that this should be UK only; Discogs has a separate European edition with a longer catalogue number, a German Label Code (which this UK version doesn't have), and the same front cover as the US edition, which is the photo used here with the top of the girls' heads chopped off so that Florence Ballard is barely recognisable (and who TF thought that was a good idea?).



Helen Willemse 12th Jun 2022		Shouldn't it be listed as a UK release? MCPS is UK... even if the print on the disc itself says made in Germany/EC. Most CD's are pressed in Germany for other countries incl. the UK. They started to press them for NL as well after our factories were closed down. Another interesting thing is that on the US release the tracks of the Supremes are slightly longer than on the EU/UK release.
