Juke Jules SUBS 9th Apr 2018		Review Lonnie Mack had taken a break from touring and frontline recording but emerged again in 1985. On this 1986 album he picks up some of the pieces, but also took a new, more reflective direction. Camp Washington Chili is basically a re-take on Lonnie On The Move and will appeal to the main body of his admirers. A Song I Haven't Sung is much more interesting: it keeps a hard Rock feel but by contrast is Christian Rock of the best kind, with thoughtful lyrics about his experience of revelation.
