| | I know this is an old conversation, but I find it a bit funny regarding the discrepancy in dates assumed here. This was released at the end of October 1988, as per RPM magazine (Canada's record industry publication), page 1 "albums to Watch": https://www.worldradiohistory.com/Archive-All-Music/RPM/80s/1988/RPM-1988-10-29.pdf#search=%22victory%20day%22 |

| | @PhilMH: It should go without saying that it's the record company - in this case - Capitol-EMI of Canada - that determines when a record/CD is released - not the country.
Perhaps, I have the country wrong.
Although, made in Canada, this could be when it was released in the USA.
Also, that Amazon.com release (linked below) shows the label as RCA! |

| | @PhilMH: I wish I could recall how I determined that year - but, I can't - however, it was on my spreadsheet so I know the research was done.
I'm not messing about just to messing about - I promise u that, sir! |

| | P.S. looked a bit further in Schwann, and found the 1992 reissue, RCA 07863-58532-2. Original 1988 release was RCA 8532-2-R, and it entered the Billboard album chart the week of 11th December 1988. As this is a Canadian artist, I would expect the Canadian release to be at the same time as (or slightly before) the US and international one. Did it chart in Canada? |

| | Well, would you like to enlighten me as to why you think this is 2007, because like THE SYMPHONY SESSIONS, this catalogue number is listed in the Canadian CD Plus Compact Disc Catalogue for Spring/Summer 1993, and I suspect it would also have appeared in earlier issues. Also, Schwann catalogues in my possession list the US release on RCA as being December 1988, so God knows where Amazon got October 1992 from (and I have to say that, although Amazon do seem to get a lot of dates right in my experience, they get a lot wrong too). It's possible that your particular pressing dates from 2007, but if the disc was first issued under this catalogue number n 1988, that's the date we go by here. |

| | @Mod Squad: I comment again - until definitively proven otherwise I stand by my year of release.
Now we're playing 'Hardball'! |

| | e.g. Amazon.com - USA shows the date of release in the USA as Oct 9, 1992. |

| | @Mod Squad: I disagree w/ PhilMH submitted correction based on that I am the one that added this entry - and until definitively proven otherwise I stand by my year of release. |

Beggars Road 3rd Nov 2017
| | @PhilMH: I Know I had a good reason for using those year - not unlike, when I didn't use my diff. Excel year and either you and/or Lee called me on it.
I check Discogs many times and they are not always complete - sometimes I even submit an edit.
If you wish to submit 'Make Correction' be my guest but I'm not quite there - yet. |

| | Similar to SYMPHONY SESSIONS; if 1988 was the first date that this catalogue number was issued, use that. |
|

|
Beggars Road 3rd Nov 2017
| | Although, the year stated on the entry is1988 - there was a definite reason I added the year 2007.
If I am wrong pls feel free to do what u do best - correct me ☺ |
