PhilMH 15th Jul 2024 Looking at Danny Williams' releases in Discogs, it looks like he didn't even record the song as an album track. It was Andy Williams who had the hit (# 30) vocal version of the tune in the UK. Perhaps Tony Rounce got his waterways mixed up and was thinking of Danny's UK # 1 with "Moon River" in late 1961? uinvrmh 15th Jul 2024 On page 12 of the booklet Tony Rounce mistakenly refers to a British vocal version of ‘Stranger on the Shore’ by Danny Williams. As far as I can see Danny never released this song as a single in the UK. Overseas? Alan Phillips 27th Jan 2019 With a nod to plerner, I have added a larger front scan plus back and CD scan
