And a very greatful shout out to Ace records, for taking the time and effort to find and re-issue these great old songs by all of these groups and artists! (as well as the Southern Folklife staff over on the Wilson Library at UNC North Carolina university, when Eddie Shuler donated all of the past tapes/records to them back in 1995).. Frankly put, if it wasn't for Ace (and the other reissue labels over the years). . . Most of these songs and the info on them would've most likely been forgotten and lost forever by now. Since some didn't have very big careers compared to other artists on the bigger major labels. I haven't purchased any of these CD's yet, but will go out and buy these Various Artists edition volumes.
