philwill SUBS 4th May 2016		To be fair to MFP, Ferry 'Cross The Mersey only entered the UK chart on 17/12/64 so spent most of its time in the 1965 charts

henry29 7th Jul 2015		On One of them (I can't remember which) The Track Numbers have some Missing so the Sequence would go 21,22,24,25,27,28 Like that. Not fun on the Disco when You Look at Track 25 and say Here are the Shadows and Chris Bennett rings out. Lol. H.

henry29 28th Jun 2015		Hi Neil F. They did not stop at the break down of the 70's. They carried on the series under the Monika of "The Class of.....1970 then so on to 89" From (Friends Reunited.co.uk). Check them out for full track lists. And Yes pretty rare now. They also did Greatest Hit volumes by Artists appearing on the Yearly Volumes. Everytime I look through Cd's on Boots and Charity I look for the MFP In the Red box Then You can Guarantee It Is one of the Sets and worth picking up. And as for the slip In the time warp. Rather than leave a track out They would Put It on the Next Disc. Happens a few times. Nice touch as others would not of bothered. Cramming as much on to a disc as they can 24 sometimes 30 odd tracks. H.

Neil Forbes 23rd Jun 2015		I have the 1965 volume of this. It includes Ferry 'Cross The Mersey by Gerry & The Pacemakers which should, by rights have been in the 1964 volume(I have the single as Columbia DB-7437, clearly states "Recording First Published 1964). And yes, it is good that the recordings are original(authentic)! Nothing pisses me off more than re-recordings or sound-alikes passed off as original.



henry29 23rd Jun 2015		I have the Lot of these 1956 - 1969. Then they do Hit's of the 70's, 70's love songs That kind of thing. The nice thing about them they are the Original Single Recording's. H.
