philwill SUBS 6th Oct 2017		I also have the UK/barcode version. Should the barcode be added to this entry or should a new entry be made, as the original JASRAC version has no such barcode? Since a search under Barcode will not lead to this version, I have created a new entry CDP 7 46056 2 to accommodate the barcode version. [18/05/2020]

RPFiller 6th Sep 2014		This was the same pressing that was sold in the US as a domestic release.



mojofilter 6th Aug 2014		Denny Laine had accrued so much debt by the mid-'80s that he felt he had no choice but to sell his copyright on "Mull Of Kintyre" back to Paul for the money. On the 1993 "Paul McCartney Collection" remaster of "London Town," the only songwriting credits given are "All songs composed by McCartney except 1, 6, 11, 13, 14 and 16 (which is Mull Of Kintyre)." Who the other composer(s) were is not mentioned. Interestingly, Denny is credited on the 2001 "Wingspan" compilation.



Syd Vliet 5th Aug 2014		And no composer credits anywhere, denying Denny Laine recognition for "Mull of Kintyre". The first solo Beatle album I owned (on vinyl, early '79) and one of my earliest CD purchases (Dec '86).



JPGR&B SUBS 5th Aug 2014		I note the disc was made in Japan, and states JASRAC, which is the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers.
