Notes

Compiler's note: There are alternate versions of six of T-Bone walker's Imperial Recordings that because of space limitations, we were unable to include here. These are the LP versions of The Hustle Is On, Baby Broke My Heart and Look Me In The Eye, and the single versions of Evil Hearted Woman, No Reason and Too Lazy. Since something had to give in order to accommodate all 52 recordings on two CDs, we chose to include only the better of the two versions of these six selections - stronger, more tightly focused, with crisper playing and more expressive singing. And in every case, the choice between the two versions was not at all difficult to make. - Pete Welding
