RogerFoster 8th Nov 2015		That writing credit on "Testify" looked strange to me as well PhilMH, as I know the Parliaments version very well and thought that Johnnie wasn't involved with the song until he recorded his version. However the booklet DOES say the songwriters were George Clinton and Johnnie Taylor, an error that I'm certain compiler Ady Croasdell still loses sleep over to this day!! For those unfamiliar with Johnnie Taylor's version of the song here it is ...

I don't have this CD, so I don't know what the writing credit is in the booklet, but "Testify" was co-written by Daron Taylor, not Johnnie - it was originally recorded by The Parliaments (George Clinton's group before they changed to their more familiar simplified name) on Revilot.
