''there are but four small faces'' was the title of the first small faces album put together by cbs inc. /merkin columbia records (1967 q.v.), immediately° after taking over distribution, marketing and - it proved - deciding exactly what was released on the immediate label in north america, including details down to this album's track-listing and even the mixes used.
(° - sorry)
tracks 1-10 and 2-10 are so-titled on the back cover of the package book and in the bound-in booklet.
this is, i believe, an error for ''here comes the nice'' originally made by merkin united artists: but it is a consistent error, and so appears intended here. ''the nice'' was private group slang for a number of things including their favourite drugs, their favourite drug dealer, particular favourite girlfriends, the approach of any and all of these, and good times in general (source: tv interviews with members).
i've listed this as a charly / immediate release as its prominent re-use of the immediate label and logo design on both discs and on the book covers is specified as being licensed from bmg, who're evidently the owners of these properties.
the only rights organisation given is mcps, and charly's licence is specified as being uk only.
