Magic Marmalade 17th Sep 2015		Review A dark, melancholic album that you might not immediately "get"... let alone appreciate. (Indeed it took me over 10 years to give it a proper listen, and discover how good it was - judged on it's own terms). Experimental, abstract, and innovative, in keeping with some of the best albums of the time from the likes of Massive Attack, Tricky, and Postishead, but heading firmly into Leonard Cohen Territory in terms of feel, I'd also describe it as "electro-indie-gothic". I didn't understand it at first, but it gradually insinuates itself into your affections. -that is all- ✔︎ Helpful Review?
