ReviewA classic example of the "Stones" 1980's uninspired sludge. Old Mick whining on about how much he loves young girls makes up 80% of lyrical content on the album. BORING. The rest is equally unimpressive except for one track "Down In The Hole". This track reminds you that the "Stones" are capable of writing a good song but unfortunately it is the only one on the album. Two singles were lifted from the album, "She's So Cold B/W Send It To Me" and the title track "Emotional Rescue B/W Down In The Hole". If you can put up with the imagery of Mick bearing down on you on "a fine Arab charger" then my advice would be to buy the single for "Down In The Hole" and avoid the album altogether.
