Notes

All but one of the recordings made for Andrew Loog Oldham & Tony Calder's immediate record label (the missing one being of P. P. Arnold duetting with Rod Stewart on Barry Mann & Cynthia Weill's "Come Home Baby") 1967-1969 and one (the Gerry Goffin & Carole King-composed track 28), 1986 on Castle Showcase SHLP 157, "Angel", 1986.
P. P. Arnold's backing band was the Immediate group, Four Of A Kind (the remnants of the Blue Jays) for her performances on tour from 7th March 1967, then the trio of the nascent Nice, "Stolen" from her by Oldham as an independent act while she was over, getting her children from the states; then TNT: Eddie Phillips, Bass; Billy Adamson, Drums; Ernie Hayes, Guitar: Mike Von Jones, Keyboards.
Track 4 was credited to Oldham & Hurst, arranged Greenslade, on its first appearance on Immediate single, but on later pressings to Arnold.
No production, engineering credits provided by Castle Music, who've given the disc the unboxed Immediate label logo, on a plum background field, and extended notes based upon the original sleeve notes, by Paolo Hewitt 1998, updated 2001 by P. P. Arnold, David Wells & John Reed. "Immediately" remastered by sound recording technology, St. Ives (Cambs, not Cornwall) UK.

ppint. 10th May 2015		(submitted as a correction immediately upon reviewing the entry) notes: track 28's original appearance was on castle showcase shlp 157 (this tablettything's editor's auto-mis-correct-after-the-word's-been-completed-and-moved-on-from bug^W "feature" struck. again... - my notes: section was anonymously erratically re-written, re-punctuated & re-paragraphed. dunno why. no responsibility is nor can be accepted by yr hmbl srppnt. for any and inaccuracies and/or errors introduced thereby.



ppint. 7th May 2015		the song, "letter to bill", seems to've been published by immediate; but i've not come across the songwriter, listed only as "mark", before - anycd,lp,ep,singleORtapecatter out there know aught about him, her or it?
