| | Hi Lee.
On the Discogs site doesn't say matrix/runout for my Rykodisc 1993 australian issue, but it is almost identical matrix like ukranian from 1997 and the only difference is:
SS 0497-0033 CSS STELLT LTD CDMA1 (Mine)
SS 0497-0033 CSS STELLT LTD CDA1 (Ukraine)
So, only difference is in "M" letter!
Really don't understand if my edition is original.
Lee, thank you very much for your answer!!! |

| | According to Discogs the "Matrix / Runout: MADE BY DISCTRONICS B ** D31165 ** #01" but my copy here is slightly different with Matrix / Runout: MADE BY DISCTRONICS B ** D31165 ** #02. Mine is a 1994 second pressing though and it also has a green tinted jewel case. The 1993 Australian release was indeed only on Rykodisc (no Festival cat#) with cat# RCD 10263 as can be seen here here. So if you have the 1993 Australian version it should be entered as a separate entry to this version as they have different primary cat#s as well as different barcodes and I can't verify the the matrix on the 1993 release as I don't have it and it's not listed on the link above. You can check whether or not your copy matches the 1997 Ukraine unofficial release with matrix runout details SS 0497-0033 CSS STELLT LTD CDA1 here. I hope this helps to some degree. |

| | Please someone to help me.
I have australian issue Morphine "Good" CD.
Rykodisc RCD 10263, Printed & Manufactured in Australia 1993! (it's out of the question australian Rykodisc/Festival Records from 1994.)
Can anyone write me the correct one Matrix/Runout?
Exist identically copy Ukraine unofficial issue so I want to check if my disk is genuine.
Thank you very much!!! |

| | Hi guys, Festival's numbering systems were a bit like the US CBS numbering system of the 1970s onwards (and many major labels now), i.e. one primary number range that covered all their licensed labels, so D 31165 is very much the primary catalogue number here, and Rykodisc the primary label (Festival merely added their logo to everything to show that the releases were distributed by them, much as the major labels do now), and original US/UK/wherever catalogue number shown in brackets. D 31165 would have been the only one to appear in their catalogues, or general trade catalogues like Platterlog, and the only one that stores would have used for ordering. |

| | Hi Robozuc, my feeling is it is good as is now but the spine does list the cat# as D 31165 (RCD 10263) but on the CD it is just D 31165 so my feeling is that it is fine now but if you wanted to you change the cat# to D 31165 (RCD 10263) and that way all bases are covered. Don't worry I'll add the secondary cat# now and it should be all okay as that's the order numbers appear on the spine. Cheers, Lee. |

| | Hi Lee,
Could it be (primary label) Rycodisc - RCD 10263
(other label) Festival - D 31165
or reverse? |

| | Added release date (found in Platterlog, like the other Morphine CDs). Another one that needs to be made Rykodisc, though the Festival logo on the back confuses the issue a bit, but by this time the actual Festival label would only have been used for local artists. (A couple of the Morphine issues helpfully show the label name on the spines, but this one doesn't). |
