The so-called Rocket Records original version on the later 2 CD Angel Air reissue is, in fact, not quite that, as it differs in a few very minor places so, pedants be aware, that it ain't exactly what it purports to be.
This is the album as Stackridge originally intended and as submitted to Rocket Records. Rocket were unhappy with what they received so reorganised (disorganised?) and edited it, added a Beatles cover as a single, and unhappily the listeners and Stackridge were ultimately bemused with the resulting 1976 release, despite very good reviews in NME and Sounds. Within weeks of its release the band split up. (Although they did reform a mere 23 years later!). Rocket Records' Mr Mick was the bands 5th album release.
This CD comes with 8 page fold out inner with background notes by Jennie Evans and song lyrics/narration.
Re-issued by Angel Air in 2007 as a double CD (SJPCD234) pairing it with the Rocket Records version (remixed)
