The lyrics say at the beginning of the song: Kafartu bi-dîni llâh, i.e. "I reneged the religion (or: faith) of God". Maybe Youssef thought those words too dangerous to put this title on any of his records ... or he gave the song another english title with a different meaning from "Kafartu etc."?
This disc has perhaps the best sound quality of any piece of recorded music I own... and I include vinyl, tape, or CD in that statement.
In part this is due to the nature of the music: An often sparse, frequently intricate, collection of Weighty, and powerful acoustic tracks of Arabic music underpinned by jazz and noodling electronic sounds and background programming, that go from the quiet and intimate, organic acoustic plucks of the Oud strings and Acoustic bass, to the compulsive rhythms through to unfolding panoramas of epic wonder (pretentious eh?).
This is so much the case that if I were auditioning a new piece of Hi-Fi equipment, I would use this disc every time to test it's capabilities!
If you love spiritual, metaphysical, philosophical music, or just plain beautiful music, you will most likely love this.
And Dhafer Youssef has a voice that can cut you in two!
