tracks 15-19 = single a & b-sides, 18 & 19 the export single pye 7N 17314 21/4/67;
tracks 20, 21 = a previously unreleased stereo ep track, recorded for the cancelled "occupations" ep, intended for release c. 5/66, and a previously unreleased stereo backing track, respectiwiggly.
all tracks recorded at pye studios 1966 except 12, 14 1965, 18 1967, & 21 1966-7. 20 is stated recorded mid-1966/mid-1969 which is not very consistent with its given intended release date.

plocky45 SUBS 22nd Apr 2016		Actually, shouldn't the artist on this one be 'Kinks'? (according to the disc and packaging) Generally, perhaps there should be more entries under 'Kinks', accepting that the majority will be under 'The Kinks'.

ppint. 16th Mar 2015		at the time, ray davies' composer credit was always "r. d. davies" - never "ray davies"; this may have been a mere matter of formality, a requirement of copyright law - or almost anything else, as he was certainly known as "ray" to some staff and browsers in muswell hill's best record (& music) shop. the most recent style seems to be to give his full name; so the above form is something of a compromise. edit: this has been changed, anonymously, giving rise to needless ambiguity, there being two kinky komposer gentlemen hight "davies" in the group.
