Notes

tracks 1-15 = the full mono pye lp, npl 18233 22/11/68;
tracks 16-27 = the withdrawn twelve track version which appeared in some european countries and in new zealand, and was scheduled for uk release 27/9/68 but withdrawn by pye records at ray davies' request; he intended a twenty track, double lp but pye refused to contemplate this, and the fifteen track single lp eventually appeared two months later. (we knew almost naught about the then at least triangular complications between the kinks, their management, and their record company, just being told "production difficulties" as the reason for the delay by the pye records rep.)
