@ppint. Hi,to be honest i have no idea ;),it's mad, they must have just used the Cat.No.'s to differentiate between all the releases, and therefore must have just used the Cat.No.(alone) to determe a particular artist for orders?(i pity the poor chap at the warehouse;),they appear to have just lumped them all together under the "Forever Gold" banner,it must have worked for them though,as it looks like they used this system over a number of years;)
Curious one,i noticed that the only difference between this release and the one already on the site (see below) was the barcode,it was only when i then tapped this barcode into Gurgle that it became apparent that Forever Gold have used this same bardcode repeatedly on the following releases:
Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley - FG420 - 2006
Level 42 - Level 42 - FG407 - 2006
Van Morrison - Van Morrison - FG 419 - 2006
Johnny Cash - Johnny Cash - FG424 - 2006
Glenn Campbell - Glenn Campbell - FG007- 2001
Eric Clapton & Friends - Eric Clapton & Friends - FG422
Perry Como - Perry Como - FG154N - 2008
and possibly more by the following : The Drifters,Nat King Cole,Roy Orbison,Ray Charles
It appears that they also duplicated some releases as well but using an "800...." prefix barcode,as they have done here with Fleetwood Mac,so perhaps expect to see more duplications like this, all using this 5051277717196 barcode,a strange one;)
