There is little information about this recording with the CD, but some research has uncovered the following.

In May 1972 the Carpenters were in Australia for a little over three weeks and played 30 concerts.

8-20 May - Chevron Hotel, Potts Point, Sydney, New South Wales (2 concerts per day)
22 May - Apollo Stadium, Richmond, Adelaide, South Australia
24-25 May - Festival Hall, Melbourne, Victoria
27 May - Festival Hall, Brisbane, Queensland

This recording is taken from their concert on 24 May 1972 at the Festival Hall in Melbourne.

Track 11 Bacharach/David Medley comprises Any Day Now / Baby, It's You / Knowing When to Leave / Make It Easy on Yourself / (There's) Always Something There to Remind Me / I'll Never Fall in Love Again / Walk On By / Do You Know the Way to San Jose.
