ppint. 24th Jul 2015		island remasters series, with "island pink" label & typography echoing that of the classic mid-sixties-seventies' wip cat# singles & ilp/ilps 9nm/90nm mono/stereo island pop/pink originals. "witchseason" was joe boyd's production company, and could've grown into his own, semi- & then fully- independent label/record co, as chris blackwell had a penchant for helping talented producers (on a "heads-we-both-win, tails-i-win-and-you-had-a-fair-chance" basis) do this - instead, he heeded the blandishments of the warner-kinneycarparkconglommerate, and returned merkiawards, whence he had originally appeared.
