OK... so having just ripped this, the windows media player auto info finder thing tagged it as:
Album Title: Seabright
Artist: Justin Fox.
So, "A Coastal Trip With", must be a subtitle for the album.
Should the changes be made?
(bearing in mind the person adding the info to Microsoft's database might have been just as perplexed as me)
It's a shame really, as this is very good album of light melodic pop / rock, very sunny sounding and with a few quite memorable tunes... It would be a shame to think the quite fantastic Mr Fox would have seen his career K.O.'d on a technicality.
...So much so, that although I found it sealed, I ended up just pulling the cellophane off just to see if there were more illuminating details inside.
Is "Seabright" the name of the album, or the band?
...Or is "A coastal Trip With Justin Fox" the album name, or a very modern band name?
(being as Justin Fox is a member of the band personnel listed (although not evident under either of those headings).
.....There's no barcode, so is it a promo?
.........There's no country of manufacture or issue, so I again, just went for the place of recording.
When you get something like this, you do wonder if this is what any radio DJ might also be thinking, and why they just throw this aside, and put something else on instead... could a lack of clarity be the reason why some bands just don't make it... and end up being someone you've never heard of?
