MOLSON CANADIAN ROCKING WITH FREE CD GIVE AWAY
Following Molson's sponsorship of the music festival EdgeFest '99 which toured across Canada earlier this month, the Toronto-based brewery has created six collectible compilation CD's featuring tracks from bands that played at the festival such as I Mother Earth, Big Sugar, Treble Charger, Matthew Good Band, Wild Strawberries and more. Molson is giving the CDs away free in cases of 24 bottles of Molson Canadian. The EdgeFest CD promotion was launched last week and runs across Ontario until September 13. The promotion is being supported with print, radio and television advertising by Encore Encore Strategic Marketing Ltd. of Toronto. Five lucky winners will also find, that when they play the CD, it may tell them they've won a Sony stereo with $1,500 worth of CDs as well as a chance to win the 40-foot EdgeFest tour bus which features four sleeping bunks, a kitchen and a lounge.
