Notes Communards: Jimmy Somerville Richard Coles Produced by Mike Thorne Jimmy Somerville Left Bronski Beat in May of 1985 to team up with Richard Coles, a classically trained musician. Inspired by the spirit of the 19th century French political dissidents, they call themselves the Communards. This is the result of their first collaboration. Contains two additional tracks not available on the album: "Breadline Britan" and "Disenchanted" (Dance Version). Tracks 1, 3, & 6 are the original 12" mixes from their respective single releases. replacing the original LP versions. Track 5 is also longer than the original LP version.
