I found several of this series in the first CD cut-out bin at our neighborhood Best Buy store, and thought they were a bargain. I read some reviews of the early Motown CD's that were critical of their poor mastering. They sounded ok to me, and I have kept them in my collection all these years. The only thing that I questioned was "how did Duane Eddy get on Motown"? PhilMH 17th Dec 2014 Release date might actually be January 1987, going by the discography in Sharon Davis' book MOTOWN: THE HISTORY, but it is proving hard to pin down; unfortunately, this edition didn't make it into the listings at Don't Forget The Motor City, whereas a later UK issue did. YankeeDisc SUBS12th Sep 2014 I used to own all three volumes in this series, UK copies bought in UK which I will assume were "Europe Editions".
I cannot post them, because I believe they were stolen from my home.
