What goes around comes around, and the classic grooves of 1960s Jamaica are fashionable again. But while Studio One has won fresh plaudits and deserves its enormous reputation, there was a period in Reggae history when it had to settle, so to speak, for being Studio Second. That time was the Rocksteady era, roughly between 1966-68, and the stable of artists and musicians that ruled the nation was Treasure Isle.
