| | I neglected to post that Keith Hughes replied to my email in early 2017, and said that he "almost certainly" got the 1992 date from Discogs! He subsequently updated the date to 1991 (no month or day) based on the information that I supplied him (and mentioned below). |

| | It looks like that date came from Don't Forget The Motor City, which one would expect to be reliable as they get the gates directly from Motown/Universal (having said that, they did have the release date for Barrett Strong's "Money" single as later than its chart entry date!). I suspect that is when it was reissued by PolyGram, and it is also odd in that it is a Monday, whereas standard US release day was Tuesday for decades. I'll see what I can find out from Keith Hughes at DFTMC. |

| | You could be correct PhilMH, as that would fit in better with the release date of The Supremes "We Remember Sam Cooke" which is already on here and when entering it I was tempted to put 1991.
Other sites have it as 1992 though, so I put that, Discogs even narrows it down to 10 Feb 1992!!
Wouldn't it be great if some of the recording industry folks could wade in and give us definitive dates. |

| | Hi Roger, my Schwann catalogues suggest this was actually released around Summer-Fall 1991 (the Fall 1991 catalogue is when the CD number first appears). Motown changed its distribution from Uni (MCA) to PolyGram late that year, and the catalogue number prefixes changed at that time from MOTD- to 37463. |

| | I was going to enter this as simply "The Miracles" (as per the original LP) until I noticed that on the spine and back of the CD it had "Smokey Robinson & The Miracles", so that version won out!
The set kicks off with the original version of what seems to have become a staple of all those TV Talent Shows ("The Voice", "X Factor", "Liechtenstein's Got Talent" etc. etc. etc.)
