Lee Wrecker 21st Dec 2015		Sent a correction for the label another toss up, I'm due a win soon. Uploaded a Davis Sisters CD yesterday Phil that I bought due to your influence and I must say it is brilliant, thanks for the tip. This one was bought along with a few Models re-releases in the early to mid 2000's so I'd say they are Sony. This one was in a bargain bin and I'm glad the cover is a double sided printed single sheet of cardboard - very low rent.



PhilMH 21st Dec 2015		Actually, might need to rethink that - Sony and Festival probably used different barcodes. Discogs has this same cat. number and barcode, but only the front cover, so I can't tell whether it's the Sony issue or the Festival one.



PhilMH 21st Dec 2015		This catalogue number first issued 24th November 1997 by Sony Music, who seem to have gotten the rights to Mushroom in about April of that year (there were a few releases here and there until that week in November, when a good few hundred Mushroom titles were reissued). Mushroom went back to Festival two years later, and this was reissued under the same number on 28th June 1999. So, use 24th November 1997 as the release date, being the first occurrence of the number.



PhilMH 21st Dec 2015		This seems to have first been released on CD on 14th May 1990, cat. no D 19249, which was in Festival's mid-price series. The style of catalogue number here suggests a later 1990s or early 2000s full-price issue, but so far I am not finding it in Platterlog (it can't be any later than 2005, which is when Festival Mushroom was absorbed into Warners). And I know the catalogue number prefix suggests Mushroom, but the actual label here is still White Label, I think.



Lee Wrecker 20th Dec 2015		No idea of the date on this reissue - their most successful album but nowhere near their best. Unfortunately though that was their debut mini album it was all down hill from there I'm afraid.
