gregs45s SUBS 7th Apr 2020		Aha, seeing those you added reminded me where i had seen "CD-i" before, we still get them donated to the charity shop where i work occasionally, i will try to gather a few together to add to those already on the system when normality returns. It looks like you already requested that "CD-i" be added to DVD/ Blu-ray World, and perhaps we could do with it on CD Album World as well, now it seems that they can also contain audio tracks, that are playable on normal CD players. One for the Moderators.
Quad5point1 SUBS 7th Apr 2020		Yes Greg, I bought one of these for my youngest son from where I worked (Radio Rentals) very cheap, he wanted it for the Video CD end of things. Of course to watch video you had to have an FMV cartridge fitted (Full Motion Video) but even at that it wasn't particularly great quality. I still had a few of his old movie discs in the attic which I added a while back Patriot Games The Hunt For Red October Star Trek V - The Final Frontier Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country Strictly Ballroom
gregs45s SUBS 7th Apr 2020		Not that i can think of off hand MM, pretty sure this is the only one i have, i think it was better known for video games?, introduced by Philips in 1991, but all but abandoned by 1996 apparently. I do vaguely remember seeing the Philips machines in the mid 90's, another one of those formats that didn't quite take off perhaps.

gregs45s SUBS 6th Apr 2020		MODERATORS PLEASE NOTE : This is a Philips CD-i, which we don't yet have as an option on the site yet i believe?. I've added it under "Other Digital" for the moment, perhaps we could add CD-i to the drop-down options?. I've entered it under albums as it relates to the "Tyranny Of Beauty" Tangerine Dream album, and has a fair bit of content related to that album on the 1st data track, including...photographic/video material, an interactive interview, and list of their recordings. Track 2 duration is 15:14, track 3 is 3:43 Happy if you think it should live elsewhere however.
