Meticulously selecting tracks with a view to bringing something fresh and new to them, In Session celebrates tracks over the course of Rumer's career to date.

After lending her vocals to a studio project celebrating the work of Joni Mitchell, Rumer invited Redtenbacher’s Funkestra to perform alongside her for a special show at the Indigo at the O2 in December 2023.

As new arrangements emerged during rehearsals, so did the idea to do an In session record, which would pair Rumer’s much-loved catalogue with a fresh and soulful sound. The result is a timeless collection for the seasoned fan and newcomer alike.
