Double promo CD in a jewel case, probably from 1986 given the comments in the booklet.

Dick James Music
In 1962, while looking desperately for publishing support for his new Liverpool group The Beatles, manager Brian Epstein approached Dick James with a tape of Please, Please Me and history was made. Other DJM discoveries from the Mersey Beat era include Gerry And The Pacemakers, The Hollies and The Troggs. In 1967 James secured the composing talents of session player Reg Dwight - soon to become Elton John. By the end of the decade DJM was one of the most renowned music publishers worldwide. James remained active throughout the 1970's developing hits from country to classy pop to heartbreaking rock 'n' roll. In October 1986, Polygram International Music Publishing purchased this timeless catalogue and this CD represents just a few of its many classic songs.
