Independent release (no UPC or cat #) compiling recordings by the two country/rockabilly singers of the 1950s and '60s who performed solo and as the duo Ginger & Johnny; also includes a track featuring Rusty Keefer. No songwriter credits but several tracks are known to have been co-written by Bill Haley, and musicians on some tracks included members of the Comets.

Label title differs from the inlay and is: Pure Country of the 50's & 60's.
