It's a shame there is no CD mini album option in the dropdown menu when entering CD's then isn't it? Once again though some independent artists release EP's with more than four songs and they are for all intents and purposes a CD EP. Anyway, I've read the forum and have made some mistakes so I need to send a bunch of corrections in - no-one seemed to notice when they were entered. Thanks for the information sladesounds.

Guys have a look at this forum post from 2013 when the subject was first discussed.

I personally would class this as an album (admittedly a mini one!)

Oh here we go VJ what about CDs released as EPs with bonus tracks or Living End's Hellbound EP of 8 tracks and over 30mins. Surely "The Cramps" "Gravest Hits" is not an album and in fact is listed as a single on this site. The Six Ft Hick EP I uploaded last night is an EP with 4 bonus tracks making a total of 8 songs and clocks in at over half an hour but is listed as an EP on Discogs as is The Cramps' "Gravest Hits" and the Living End EP/Mini Album mentioned earlier. The 20min of different songs criteria would also make a lot of Blur and Supergrass singles albums by some weird magic trick. IMHO I still think this Stones CD is pushing it as far as being classified as an album.

I have a vague suspicion from ages ago that if playtime is greater than 20 minutes of different song titles then it is classed as Album.

I'm not sure about this one? Is it a an EP, Single or Album? Personally, I would have entered this as a CD Single/EP, six songs does not make a Stones album in my eyes. Some CD EP's have more songs on them than this and unless these are all extended versions this entire CD would come in at around 25 Mins. and to me that is not close to albums worth of material. What do other people think?
