gregs45s SUBS 22nd Mar 2020
| | Thanks Quad5point1, but i've learnt before not to count my chickens on this site, new evidence may still yet come to light yet, but, it's a start perhaps, so i'll put in a request for it to be changed to Australia for now (unless anyone has any objections of course). |

| | Certainly looks like you've cracked that one gregs45s. Great bit of detective work |

gregs45s SUBS 22nd Mar 2020
| | Curious...If you look at the Disc for the Australian entry here, you can see that it's the same Disc if you minus all the blue text, this is the closest i could find to this Disc, the fact that there is no label/rights society's/Compact Disc logo/rim text etc is possibly down to not having the "second" print on the Disc (i.e. all the blue text), perhaps it somehow escaped from the factory without this secondary print on the Disc, and that's why it doesn't have all that other information. The fact that all the other artwork is European is common for Australian releases, so, this may actually be Australian?, (as mentioned, the 93... prefixed barcode another indicator perhaps) the same release as the link above (here again) as, the European entry on Discogs with the same Cat. No. / barcode doesn't have a Disc image, and so cannot confirm if it is indeed the European release, or, more likely, it could be this same release, entered as European instead of Australian as the European release proper, appears to be this release without barcode and black text on Disc/different rim text also.
So, perhaps that may be an answer, it was a Disc intended for Australia, with European artwork, but the blue text never got printed on the Disc, at a time before it could be made in Australia proper by Disctronics, the one that got away maybe;) |

| | No label logo on the disc itself, which would be highly unusual on a European-made disc; my feeling is this was made in Indonesia from a European glass master (notice is says "Mastered By DADC Austria, not made by). |

| | That's unusual also, all the tax/import labels i remember seeing have always been stuck to the back of the case ( normally on on outer cellophane for modern issues) as far as i can remember.
Maybe the owner took it off the back/cellophane and just stuck it on the artwork. |

| | The Tax Label on the CD Tray Insert is stuck on and not part of the printing. It is stuck on the left hand side so looks official ??????????? |

| | As you say, the Disc is right for the European release, just the artwork that's in question then, perhaps it's as simple as it being a European stock copy (albeit with dodgy artwork), imported into Malaysia. (maybe the artwork was copied somewhere along the line, as it doesn't look up to the normal factory standards). Curious |

| | Would the DADC Austria and the Cat# on the hub not say otherwise? Unless somebody managed to pick up authentic pressings and run off their own prints. As we always say here, the weird and wonderful world of CD's. This copy on Discogs is the closest I can find to it but they only have one image for comparison |

| | A Malaysian unofficial copy perhaps? |

| | I have to say it doesn't feel European to me either. The paperwork is pretty lousy. The CD Tray Insert doesn't have the perforations for the spines and the Cover Inlay printing is terrible, it nearly has the feel of a bootleg about it, but for the DADC Austria on the hub you would nearly think it was. |

| | The more you study, the more confusion. The booklet is an exact copy of the 1986 European issue. CD made in Austria, Printed in Holland. All barcodes starting with 93 we have so far are from Australia. Sony Music. NPWP is a taxcode for Indonesia (from Wiki). Dunno anymore |

| | It does have on the bottom left of the Cover Inlay below the track list: BIEM/STEMRA |

| | Barcode starting with 93. This is probably an Australian issue. No indication of rights society on cd. |

| | Not sure of the release date on this but there appears to some sort of tax label on the CD Tray Insert with what looks like the date of 1997 on it?? |
