PhilMH 2nd May 2015		Manufactured by ZYX in Germany for distribution in Europe and Australia, although it seems that, from checking the Australian Platterlog catalogue, not all of the releases in this series were actually distributed in Australia, so make it Europe for now. Original US release date of this compilation was 1988, but these ZYX issues are from around 2001/2002; it may well have been released earlier in Germany under the same catalogue number, though.

PhilMH 1st May 2015		Which company distributed it - ZYX? Bernhard Mikulsi? Bellaphon? (All German licensees for Fantasy at various times). Or just Fantasy, Inc.? Images would help, if you can provide them. Unfortunately, seeing the record label's home address on foreign pressings was (and is) very common, even in the LP era. WEA here in Australia, for example, still showed the US addresses for Warner Bros., Elektra and Atlantic on the back covers of their LPs, only airbrushing out the "Made In USA" part of the boilerplate (and sometimes they even forgot to do that!).



snig72 1st May 2015		Although my copy states "Prestige Records, Berkeley, CA 94710" it also, clearly on CD & back sleeve, says "Made in Germany". Would this be classed as a 'USA', 'Germany' or 'International' release?
