Well it is a little convoluted, I have to admit steel...
... You have to go into "edit images", then "reserve" the image you want to edit (under the image you see on that page, then copy / download image to your computer, edit it, then re-upload it to the place it came from, and through the same method - "edit images" -find your reserved image -upload to that.
This reserving means that the image is yours alone to edit, to stop two people trying to download, edit, and upload the same image at the same time.
Only mods, of course, can move it delete images, but this allows you to pick out the German disc images here, for instance, doing the edit, then uploading them to the place of the original image in the database.
Alternatively, you could upload a fresh / better image, and we could hide the existing ones, if your be ones are better.
(The image edit process does seem a bit clunky to me though, I have to say, but I suppose in lieu of an alternative, it'll have to do).
Hi, MM. Everything noted (especially the 'joke' at the end)! ..BUT..how can members edit the two CDs' (the ones that need doing) when it doesn't say at the bottom 'to edit' (or whatever the actual site term is)?
Images here are available for editing by members without need of mod intervention.
...I'll leave the cards, as they were included with this disc (even though they are generic - I'll just bump them to the last position of order).
The only other problem (gulp!) is the Australian / International nature / relationship of the disc / art images on page...
...I think a separate Australian entry should probably bee made, and this left as International, on the basis that we are likely to find the German etc. discs issued all over (International - probably including Australia), but we are unlikely to find an Australian made disc / issue coming the other way, or available outside Australia. So it is specific to that country / market.
Any opinions, of course, will be taken into consideration, pondered, and summarily ignored as usual :D
Another one for the largely irrelevant "Europe" category - added Australia/Australasia tray and disc images with identical cat# and bar code. This must be "International" by this sites guidelines. Although they never get changed to International unless we keep adding multiple corrections followed by more comments.
International (never recived correction request before)(mod.edit) :)
my copy is third variant disc. Made / Printed in Germany but lower text begins '.... published by DnA Ltd ... (no ' ' marks) and edge rubric reading round from bottom to top, BUT reads from exterior rather than interior as the others!!
- my copy bears identical bar-code, bar-code number, cat#s, but is mfd (disc) & printed in germany/en allemagne (rear insert) (& probably also the saddle-stapled, 8pp (2 sheets paper) front insert, but this bears no statement of origin), with disc printed in red (duo's name, title), rest white on black ground, including track-listing with composers, (p) dates; then song publishing, recording engineering and production credits; and edge rubric reading round from top through right-hand side to bottom.
both rear insert - tray inlay - edges oddly printed, so as to read upside-down when cd case is face up...
