nboldock 17th Nov 2016		Good question - if anything they're somewhere between early Suede and Shed Seven (the latter they toured with). Pick of the album for me is "Dragging You Into My Dreams" which was their final single back in the day (it's on 45Cat). Talking of 45Cat their first single "Slave To The Fashion Page" is missing - it was an indie release prior to their signing to Fontana and I haven't got a copy... yet!

nboldock 17th Nov 2016		Soda were a Hull britpop band who recorded this album back in 1995/1996 when they were signed to Mercury/Fontana. Unlucky timing for them - the Britpop bubble burst before the album was released and Mercury pulled the plug on it. 20 years later they're releasing it themselves - I've got a preview copy and it's a cracking album. They'll be publicising links to buy on their Twitter page @sodabritpopband with the CD to be released on November 20th. Some tracks were released as singles/B sides but the remainder are completely unreleased until now. I'm only adding the front cover scan for now as it isn't out yet - other scans once it's released.
