Originally released in 1960 as two Roulette LP's - "Civil War Almanac Vol. 1-Yankees" (R/SR 25132) and "Vol. 2 -Rebels" (R/SR 25133). Yankee songs are tracks #13-23 here, and Rebel songs are tracks 1-12. Original recordings produced by Peter Kameron.
Group members were: John Stewart, John Montgomery, and Gil Robbins. John Stewart left to join the Kingston Trio in 1961 and Robbins joined the Highwaymen.
