Notes

Recorded early March - 13th April 1989 at Studio On The Move at Emlah Court & 1305 Soniat Street, New Orleans during sessions for the 'Oh Mercy' album.
The Soniat Street address was an old decaying building rented by Daniel Lanois, who produced the sessions.
Dylan commented that the room was so dark that it was only when he started to play did he realise there were other musicians poked into the corners of the room.
Recorded straight off the console desk and in superb sound quality.
Of the 22 outtake sessions songs recorded (with several repeats) 10 have since been officially released, with 1 being a composite of 2 takes stuck together.
2 songs, God Knows & Born In Time would be carried forward and re-recorded during the 'Under A Red Sky' album sessions in 1990.
