Lee Wrecker 15th Dec 2015		Hi All, Personally, I agree with Greg on this one but technically according to the rules (as they exist) Magic Marmalade and Leonard are also correct. This is a big problem when using the international category or even interpreting how to use it. I have given this some thought to this problem since posting in the forum about this issue and will post some possible solutions in a day or two. Thanks to all that contributed to the forum it helped me see the problem from some different perspectives other than my own. I still need a day or two to let it rattle around in my brain but I do have some ideas that may help. Oh, and thanks to Roger for reminding that Bob Dylan wrote every song in existence I often waste a lot of time listing plagiarists.



RogerFoster 14th Dec 2015		Aha Magic Marmalade ... I realised this fact about The Mods a few weeks back. I now enter all of my contributions as issues from an unknown country on an unknown label with the catalogue number and/or barcode being difficult to make out. I put the artist as Little Jimmy Osmond and call all the tracks "Long Haired Lover From Liverpool" written by Bob Dylan. Then I put my images on the site and send a (very grovelling) correction request stating that I made a mistake and that if The Mods look at my images they should be able to work out the correct Title/Label/artist/song-title/writer etc. etc. etc. Works every time!! LOL!!



Magic Marmalade 14th Dec 2015		Looks OK Lee. Put 'em up as best guess, then they can be banged into shape after, if need be. A little known fact is that the Mods are sat at their computers all day waiting eagerly for something to do... yearning for us to submit vast amounts of corrections, and as many mistakes as we can muster :)



gregs45s SUBS 14th Dec 2015		Indeed,something you don't see every day.Shouldn't this entry be changed to "Australia" though,and then add a separate entry for the US version (diff barcode)?. Addenda : Or maybe just have the one Australian entry?

I was wondering if the Rick Carey on here was the same Rick Carey from Rick and Thel Carey fame - "I'll Take The Dog" - My Kinda Country album - just checking bio's looks like it is - both Audrey Auld And Rick Carey into novelty type recordings.



PhilMH 14th Dec 2015		Well, this is a novelty, two printed barcodes on the same cover! I think in this case, it would make more sense to have separate entries for each country.



Lee Wrecker 14th Dec 2015		Leonard, the barcodes are different so surely this CD is intended for both countries and could be entered separately as the barcodes do not match??? I'm not that fussed really it's just these arbitrary decisions can be confounding at times.
