Tracks 1 - 4: produced by Rick Hall and Bob Montgomery;
tracks 5 - 8, 11 and 12: produced and arranged by Alan Lorber;
tracks 9, 10, 13 and 14: produced by Bob Davie.
Recorded at Regent Sound Studio and Mirasound Studio in NYC and Fame Studios, Muscle Shoals, AL.

 If you read the bottom right of the insert page 4, the notes are creating a terrible mixup with the two songs. When it says Lavender Lace differs from Roy Orbison's, it is referring to Sweet and Innocent. Terrible mistake. Considering what follows it.
They locate an old reference of Orbison and Melson writing Lavender Lace. So now is this also a typo and they meant Sweet and Innocent? There is no Orbison Lavender Lace. They allow that the reference may be mistaken. But we still aren't sure what they are talking about. Lavender Lace was written by Bob Montgomery around 1966, confirmed on the single.

 This collection from Amy is mostly soul ballad oriented. That was not the way to get hits. But there are terrific standouts in a pop-rock vein - tracks 01 to 04. These were on singles, but were not enuf to get him hits at that stage. If nothing else you need to have his "A Shot Of Rhythm And Blues" in your collection.
