Hi Roger, I have the Jean Knight CD in this series, which I bought in 2002, about 2 or 3 computers ago, but it still works on my current laptop. If you don't already have it, you need to have Quicktime in order to view the video, which is an extended trailer (probably the original theatrical one) for the WATTSTAX movie, which was coming out on DVD around that time, but if you already have the DVD, then the trailer is probably of little interest.
No sign of any release date on here, but 2001 seems to fit in with other Stax releases.
Did anybody ever buy these things for the multimedia tracks? I put this into my computer for the first time yesterday (I didn't have one back in 2001) and the video seems to require installation of a specific software program from Germany .. I followed the instructions and tried to download it but all I got was some error message in Deutsch. Otherwise there are some interesting pictures and biographies of some of the Stax recording artists which to my mind would have been a whole lot better being included in a booklet or insert.
