PhilMH 1st Jul 2016		Hi Roger, this cut-down version of the album actually originated via Fantasy in the USA in 1981 (though it was probably copyrighted 1980), and the ZYX Music LP reissue would be from the 1990's - the early 1980's German issue was distributed under the company's previous name Bernhard Mikulsi. I have a feeling that this CD version might be from the early 2000's, as that is when the Australian licensee Festival's name started appearing on the packages, but I can't check the Aussie release date whilst my Platterlogs are all packed away (I may now be moving house instead of renovating - long story!).
RogerFoster 1st Jul 2016		This seems to be a CD version of a German/European version of "Black Moses" that came out in 1980 ... This is the entry for the relevant LP on Discogs. The original issue of "Black Moses" in 1971 on Stax/Enterprise was a Double LP and had a lot more tracks. The issue date of 1999 is from music-sammler.de and there is no mention of this in the packaging.
