4-CD set in cardboard box.
Freeway is a "registered label of Wisepack Ltd.".
In fact, the first CD was also released on the Wisepack label, titled
"True Love Ways" WPCD 040 in 1995.
"...a substantial and significant amount of tracks have been re-recorded using modern recording techniques,..."
Each CD has its own title and cat.#/barcode:
CD 1: "Love Freeway" FRCD 528 (barcode: 5018482452823);
CD 2: "Love Is The Message" FRCD 529 (5018482452922);
CD 3: Just For You" FRCD 530 (5018482453028);
CD 4: "Happy Together" FRCD 531 (5018482453127).
I was very surprised when I listened to the first CD of this CD and heard Carl Perkins sininging about his blue suede shoes. As a matter of fact, this CD does not contain any of the songs. It seems that a mistake happened duriong its production. Whereas the picture side shows title and cat. number as expected, the information on the inner ring of the shiny side states "FRCD 526", obviously a completely different collection.
So my note about a 1995 re-release is not correct.
For info's sake I am listing the actual songs (artist names and song titles according to the display of my CD player):
1. Carl Perknis - Blue Suede Shoes 14. Trini Lopez - If I Had A Hammer
2. Jan And Dean - Help Me Rhonda 15. The Dovells - The Bristol Stomp
