Musically this is a very interesting release, as it contains a number of obscure late '60s/early '70s Philly releases ... but I do wish that they had paid more attention to getting the track listing consistent ..
"The Three Degrees" at track 1 are (of course) the same group who are called simply "Three Degrees" on tracks 7 and 20, but in spite of what the track listing might suggest Track 7 and Track 20 are NOT identical .. Track #7 is actually "What I See", which is the vocal version of "Reflections Of Yesterday" (or "Reflections Of Yesterday" is the instrumental version of "What I See" depending upon your point of view). Anyway "What I See" and "Reflections of Yesterday" were originally issued in 1970 as the "A" and "B" side of their 45 on Neptune 23
And there is a mix up with Tracks 8 ("Family Affair" by "Family") and 17 ("Nation Time" by "Family Affair") as well! Both sides were originally issued on a 45 in 1972 as North Bay 302, and the group was simply called "The Family".
