 This is one of my least favorite CDs. Though the cover claims these to be 'original versions,' tracks 1-6, 8, and 10 (The Platters' biggest hits) are cover versions by a later version of the group, after the departure of lead singer Tony Williams. The Williams versions of the songs are so familiar to listeners, and so well done, that cover versions such as those on this disc are unlistenable, at least for me. The cover photo is also misleading since it shows the group personnel from an earlier period. Buyer beware!

The disc title is seen elsewhere as The Platters Forever, which seems unlikely. Forever (also shown as Forever Collection) is clearly a series with other discs in the series shown on the inside cover.
